A troop and patrol centered program for boys, Grades 6 - High School senior (or age 18), designed to build and foster lifetime skills by building self-esteem, self-reliance and self-respect through a blend of outdoor experiences, educational and instructional skills, value building, fun and "Duty to God."

Boy Scouts - Ad Altare Dei & Pope Pius XII


A home and neighborhood centered program designed to support family life for boys in grades 1-5.  Each one learns to "Do Your Best," to respect home, country, God and other people. Our Cub Scouts are encouraged to earn the Scouting religious emblems of our faith called the Parvuli Dei and the Light of Christ. 


The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas.  They donate to charities, administer scholarship programs and strive “to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness.”  Their program includes concerns of today’s church and society as well as issues that affect the well-being of women and children.


This organization provides opportunities for those over 50 years of age to gather for social and recreational activities.




A.C.T.S. retreats are intended to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in order to bring those who attend into closer relationship with Jesus. A.C.T.S. is a lay ministry conducted by our parish using methods developed by A.C.T.S. Missions. A.C.T.S. is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology and Service and these are the cornerstone themes of the retreat. It is also based on Scripture, Acts 2:42, “and they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.


Cursillos is a personal encounter with Christ.  It is a method retreat that is sponsored by the Catholic Church to foster true discipleship that enables the Christian to live the Gospel and fulfill their personal vocations.  It promotes the creation of core groups of Christians who enliven their environments with the Gospel of Christ.


Marriage Encounter is a weekend experience which provides married couples an opportunity to examine their lives together openly and honestly. The emphasis is on communication between husband and wife in getting away from the distractions and tensions of everyday life, enabling them to focus on each other. It is a time to turn good marriages into great marriages. Information meetings take place several times a year. Watch the bulletin for dates.


This is a world-wide public association of the faithful, responding to the requests that the Blessed Mother made to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal in 1917, to help save souls and bring peace to the world. It promotes Eucharistic prayer and the Rosary, as well as penance, especially the generous acceptance of the duties of our state in life.  They offer a variety of spiritual programs, including the Prayer Cells, where individuals meet for weekly prayer in the Parish or home setting, to the Parish First Saturday Devotions, All Night Vigils, and a Sacred Heart Home Enthronement Program and Family Consecrations to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. These and other programs can revitalize and strengthen the faith of participants in local Church communities.


The Finance Council is mandated through the Code of Canon Law.  It’s purpose is to periodically review the financial status of the parish and to offer insight and recommendations to the pastor regarding financial matters.  This council works with the Pastor to develop the annual budget and review parish expenditures to ensure appropriate stewardship of God’s resources.


This committee works with all liturgical ministers to implement the proper rubrics of the Mass, as guided by the USCCB and Rome, to enable the faithful to have a deeper understanding and sense of appreciation for Catholic worship; and works with the pastor to plan and prepare reverent and meaningful liturgies that help the People of God express their faith and are a means of spiritual growth, both personally and communally as the Body of Christ.


Comprised of persons who are representative of the parish demographics, the purpose of this council is to vision, advise and work with the pastor in the areas of planning, policy and coordinating parish activities, and to ensure that the life of the parish reflects the mission of Jesus.


This committee seeks to educate and encourage the development of Christian Stewards within our parish through the development of various resources and events.
